Constance Button is a photographic artist based in San Jose, CA. She takes an intuitive approach to image-making by combining an analog-minded inclination toward harvesting, slowness, and intention, with a digitally-informed ethos for sampling, synthesis, and experimentation. 

 

Her practice is driven by the desire to understand and admire the ways that human touch, emotion, and history  manifest in memories we have, tools we use, and events we live through.

 

Her work has been exhibited in multiple shows around the Bay Area. She is a graduate from San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography.
